    Not fancy, but great food! Pizza by the slice, or by the pie, is always hot, fresh, and tasty! My go to is the Italian Sub... fresh bread and loaded! Fantastic! Never disappoints...

    I have eaten here several times over lunch breaks at work. I love the old school atmosphere of the place.

    The reuben is pretty good, but the pizza is really where it is at here. Although a little more pricey than your big time chain joint, the pizza is certainly worth the extra dough.

    I would recommend U-Gene if you are near the airport and need a decent bit quickly!

    My beef pizza slice was reasonably priced ($2.99 single topping, $3.99 two toppings), nicely sized, and not too greasy, with a generous amount of tasty toppings, plenty of cheese, and a flavorful sauce, on an okay crust. The service at the counter was just accommodative, while the dining area was basic, and clean, with a small TV. The dining area was open to the adjacent Phillips 66 convenience store. Overall, A-OK.

    This place is never consistent
    Third time i come in to get some pizza
    Today the girl tells me the pizzas in the heat box are not fresh so i ask about getting some fresh
    She told me no they were not making anymore by the slice cause they close soon.
    This is at 6pm and sign says close at 8pm
    When i walk in three people huddled in the back chatting , gentleman before me had been standing there for 7 min and finally girl comes running up he says never mind and leaves
    Don't think I'll be back
    Flight crew here so was in a hotel near by

    So evidently gas station pizza is a thing here in the Midwest. U-Genes is great and the time to go is all you can eat Thursday.

    They typically have about 3-5 different pizzas on standby, which is a nice variety.

    Setting is limited so try to get there early!
